Class Descriptions:

Hot Power Yoga: Our most popular class, our Hot Power classes are grounded in a vinyasa flow. Whether they’re 60 or 75 ominutes, the practice is strong and sweaty, while still maintaining a meditative practice. This class is intended for all levels with modifications offered for both newer and more experienced students to reach your own peak. The room's heat reaches 105.

Hot Power Basics: A slower paced class focused on the fundamentals of the vinyasa flow. Cultivate strength, balance, and flexibility. The room is heated to 105.

Beginners (available with no heat or warm): The beginner-focused flow class is slower-paced for those who want to learn the fundamentals of a Vinyasa practice or get a refresher on the basics of postures and alignment. Each class will break down one pose in detail, while incorporating flow so that students can attend other classes at the studio with confidence. Questions welcome and encouraged throughout class!

Breathe & Release (no heat): Transition to the weekend with this flowing yoga practice. Through a moderate vinyasa practice and playful transitions, this class will reset your body, mind, and spirit. Using your breathe as a guide, this class will allow you to connect with your body and move in a way that will release tension and build strength to aid your life on and off the yoga mat. Reiki energy will be incorporated into the final relaxation, helping to bring your body and mind into balance.

Family Yoga (no heat): Join us for a fun class for the full family, kids ages 5-11. Yoga is a practice that give kids the tools to develop a calm and balanced mind, while helping them build a strong and flexible body. More importantly: it's fun! When practiced as a family, yoga encourages cooperation and communication. Family Yoga incorporate basic yoga poses presented in a creative, and engaging yoga-themed adventure. There is an emphasis on poses that encourage parents, children, and siblings to work together. No yoga experience is necessary. Special pricing for this class: sign up on MindBodyOnline for free, and at the studio you'll pay $5 per person. This is a semi-regular class, offered about twice a month.

Restorative (no heat): This slow and supportive practice allows you to calm the mind and nervous system through supporting the body in each pose with the use of props. This support allows the body to deepen into each pose, sometimes staying in each posture for up to five minutes to get the full benefit of each pose.

Rise & Shine Flow (no heat): Start your day off right with 60 minutes of yoga flow. Through an invigorating vinyasa series, enliven each part of your body to prepare for the day ahead. Moving with your breathe, we'll combine flowing postures with opportunities for deep stretches to awaken the body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga for 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR, no heat): Y12SR is an innovative addiction relapse prevention program that integrates the wisdom of yoga and the practical tools of 12-Step recovery programs. Guided by its theme “The Issues Live In the Tissues,” Y12SR is a meeting and a yoga practice. The time together will include a 12-Step-like sharing circle, and a yoga asana (movement), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation session. The yoga asana practice offered is designed to be accessible to all bodies and levels of yoga experience. Y12SR is open to all persons who suffer with addiction as well as to those who are impacted by the addictions of others. This is an open and inclusive group. EVERYONE is welcome. You do not have to be a member of a 12-step group to attend. It is offered as an adjunct—not a replacement—to regular addiction recovery work.
