Beginner's Yoga Series


New to yoga and not sure where to start? Join us in this small class series to learn the basics of yoga. In this five week series you'll learn the foundations of yoga to prepare yourself for public classes or a consistent and safe at-home practice.

Curriculum

  • Week one:

    • What is yoga?

    • Sun salutations

  • Week two:

    • The connection between yoga and meditation

    • The warrior poses

  • Week three:

    • What's pranayama?

    • Balancing poses

  • Week four:

    • The eight yoga limbs

    • The back and the core

  • Week five:

    • Bringing it all together

Also taking place Nov. 17-Dec. 15 and Jan. 5-Feb. 2.
